Affiliation. The AEPTA is affiliated to IGU.
Closing of Course. The management reserves the right to close the course on the following occasions:-
(a) Conduct of tournaments.
(b) Inclement weather conditions.
(c) Administrative reasons.
While on the Course. All members are expected to observe golf etiquette and norms of the AEPTA, Certain aspects of discipline and personal behavior expected of members are enumerated in paras below.
Rights of Play.
(a) Members. Members of the AEPTA are permitted to play on course on all days except Tuesday being closed day. They can play on first come first play basis on weekdays. However, Online booking is required for Weekends & Holidays.
- Patron in Chief, Patron, Chairman and Capt of the Course will have priority rights of play.
(c) All Ex Patrons in Chief, Ex Patrons, Ex Chairmans and Ex Captains of the Course will be provided with all privileges and priority rights of play at par with the current office holder.
Foreigners. Foreigners are not allowed on the course. MI clearance will be obtained for personal guests of members of foreign citizenship. For NDC students MI clearance for the duration of the course will be taken by NDC.
Non-members. Non-members are only permitted to play by paying green fees as laid down from time to time. Handicap proof and green fees will be paid before play begins and receipt obtained from green fee clerk. The non members are permitted to play only after 1200h on week-ends and holidays.
Handicapping. Handicapping has been computerised with effect from Jan 96. Golfers will submit their score card every time they play a round of golf to ascertain the correct handicap. The member, who does not submit his card after a play of 18 holes, will be made to play the tournaments at the scratch handicap. The handicaps are revised every month.
- Practice on the Course. No practice is permitted on the course. The members may practice in the designated practice area only. No single ball is permitted to play on the course. Min of two ball can play on weekdays. However, it is mandatory that min three ball will be permitted to play on weekends & holidays. Violation of the rule shall invite suspension.
Play on Saturday, Sunday & Holidays. The following rules will apply for regulating play on Saturday, Sunday & Holidays:-
(a) Advance Booking. Players with prior booking are only allowed to tee off on weekends/holidays.
(b) Teeing Off. Teeing off is permitted only from 1st or 10th Tee as per timings and order of play booked and placed on the notice board. The tee offs will be controlled by the starter.
(c) Four ball has priority over three ball and should be given a pass.
(d) Two balls are not allowed on weekends & holidays.
(e) Three balls must take a lone golfer wanting to join them.
(f) Duplicacy of names for booking will lead to the name of the golfer being deleted from the draw sheet.
(g) Non-members, members of other golf clubs on reciprocal basis as per reciprocal arrangements can play on week-ends/holidays after 1200 h.
(h) Members are requested not to embarrass the management and themselves by coming to play without valid booking times.
(j) Absentee members will not be allowed to book slots for next 2 weeks during the prime time (upto 1030 hrs).
(k) Members are requested to tee off only at their scheduled tee times.
(l) Caddies will only be provided to members with valid booking times and not more than 30 minutes before their tee off times.
(m) No tee off is permitted before scheduled first tee off time. The Tee off time will be as per the season and displayed on the notice board.
(n) The gates will open 15 min before the first Tee off time.
Tees to be Used. Tees will be used as under:-

(b)Ladies Red Tees
(c) Junior golfers 12-18years/Regular Yellow Tees
(d)Championship Blue Tees
Discipline during Play. Maint of decorum and discipline on the Course is of paramount importance. To ensure smooth conduct of play, the following will be adhered to:-
(a) Filling of Cards. Filling of five cards in each two months is mandatory. Non-submission of cards by members would invite disciplinary action. Also if cards are not submitted as per schedule, the management will reduce the handicap to zero. Outstation members/officers going out of station must give in writing for exemption of this rule.
(b) Caddies. Caddies are mandatory for all golfers on all days while playing on the course. The Caddy Master will provide caddies on weekdays on first come/first serve basis. For this, he will maintain a register. On weekends the Caddies will be given as per the booking of slots only..
(c) Starter. Before start of play, every member must make an entry in the register with the starter to fill in all columns and sign. The names will be entered in the register only after the full three balls/four balls scheduled to play are present on weekdays . The starter can ask for identification/green fee voucher which must be handed over to the starter before start of play. Any player can commence play only after the starter has given the permission. Violation of this will invite strict disciplinary action.
(d) Order of Play. The order of play will be decided by the starter and is not to be questioned. This will be according to rule and booking or time of entry in the register (where there is no booking) except in privileged cases as per rules of the course. The starter’s word is final.
(e) Filling up divots/smoothening Bunkers. All golfers will ensure that their caddies to fill up divots/smoothen bunkers and remove pitch marks. Disciplinary action can be initiated against the member for non adherence of the same.
(f) Call Hole. All par 3 holes on the course will be call holes. The call hole will be given subject to the following:-
(i) It is asked by the four ball on the tee.
(ii) All golfers in the four ball ahead have reached the green.
(iii) The putting has not started.
(g) Pace of Play. All golfers will follow the laid down pace of play. Time has been set for completion of 9, 14 and 18 holes. Starter to note the start time on their score card. Default on this may be entered in a register with the starter. Slow four-balls will be observed in future. If confirmed again, the case will be put up to Disciplinary Committee. Guidelines are as under:-
(i) 1-9 holes - 2 hrs
(ii) Compulsory break after 9 holes - 10 mins
(iii) 10 -18holes - 2 hrs 10 mins
(h) Local Rules. It is the responsibility of the player to read and follow all the local rules of AEPTA. The same are printed on back of the score card.
(j) Tipping Tipping to AEPTA staff, Starter, Caddie Master and caddies etc is strictly forbidden. Anyone found guilty is likely to lose his membership.
(k) Short Cuts. Short cuts/ jumping of the holes while playing not allowed. Necessary disciplinary action will be taken against the erring members.
(l) Minimum Number of Players. The minimum number of players allowed to tee off is three on week ends and holidays and two on week days. A Single player has no right on the course.
(m) Practice. Practice shots on the fairway and practice putting on the green are strictly forbidden. Practice will only be carried out at the Practice Range.
(n) The warning to a player before hitting a ball will be loud and clear as laid down in IGU rule book.
(o) A two ball may be given a pass on request.
